Chris Achis

Chris Achis is Head of Presales and Solutions at L2X, where he leads how solutions are designed and shaped with customers before delivery begins. He joined L2X in 2026, bringing more than 24 years of experience in telecommunications across mobile and fixed networks.
His strength is end-to-end service design: following an application flow from the user’s device to the internet or the data centre, and making sure security holds at every step along the way. He has deep experience in traffic engineering and routing across access, core and edge, along with caching, DNS, CGNAT, internet peering, cloud-native network functions, automation and orchestration.
Before L2X, Chris held architecture and technical leadership roles with operators and vendors in Australia. At TPG Telecom he led the development of the company’s first automation framework across multiple domains and vendors, and at F5 he worked closely with customers on cloud, automation and orchestration. He enjoys sharing technical knowledge with peers and presenting to live audiences.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Computer Engineering in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Wollongong. He is based on the Gold Coast.
