Paulo Maffei

Paulo Maffei is the founder and CEO of L2X. He started the company in 2004 and has led it ever since.
For more than two decades he has worked at the edge of transformation, helping telcos, enterprises and founders scale smarter and faster. His career began deep in network engineering, where he earned the CCDE and two CCIEs, in Routing & Switching and Service Provider. Alongside building L2X, he worked as a network architect for Cisco and Vodafone and taught as a Cisco Certified Systems Instructor.
Today his work spans mentoring founders, guiding boards through strategic technology decisions and designing architectures that empower people rather than overwhelm them. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and of the Cisco CCIE Advisory Council, and an angel investor in technology companies.
Paulo has completed Leading Professional Services Firms at Harvard Business School Executive Education, the Oxford Entrepreneurship: Venture Finance Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and the AICD Foundations of Directorship. He is based in Sydney.
